Overall Patient Satisfaction

We ask every patient to fill in a satisfaction form on an unsupervised computer on each return visit. This way we get objective satisfaction feedback from our patients. We use this for auditing our results and to give you realistic expectations of the vision you could achieve.

Vision without Glasses after Treatment

Your sharpness of vision without glasses is measured on each return visit. This tells us how well the surgery has progressed. 99.96% of our patients achieve driving standard vision or better. You will see from the bar charts what you could expect of treatment. Most patients gain improved quality of vision because their glasses or contacts lens cannot correct vision without distortion.

On Target Results

Your report will show the percentage of patients with similar eye profiles who have achieved on target visual results, measured by the remaining glasses prescription. For instance, if you start with minus 4 and have a remaining 0.5 (half) prescription after laser treatment you are on target. Glasses are not usually prescribed for prescriptions of 1 or less. A bar chart shows the number falling within plus or minus 0.5 and increments of 0.25 outside this target. Low prescription treatments achieve very high levels of "on target" results, over 99% of patients.
