Dalia Said is a substantive consultant ophthalmologist at QMC, Nottingham University Hospitals, NHS Trust, with special interest in cornea, cataract, refractive surgery and ocular surface diseases.
She is an Honorary Clinical Associate Professor in the University of Nottingham and involved in medical school teaching and examinations.
After completing specialist training Egypt in 1999 and acquired MSC and MD degrees, she completed 2 cornea and ocular surface fellowships in Nottingham. She has performed over 5000 cataract, cornea and refractive surgery procedures.
She has over 80 publications with H index of 42. She has supervised many Msc, MD and PhD students.
She is a regularly invited speaker in many national and international conferences and delivers training courses in many cornea and refractive surgery meetings such as Royal college of ophthalmologists, ESCRS, AAO, ESASO and EuCornea.
