Ms. Li Jiang is a Consultant Ophthalmologist at Queen Elizabeth Hospital, part of University Hospitals Birmingham NHS Foundation Trust. She graduated with Honours from the University of Birmingham and completed her ophthalmology training at the West Midlands School of Ophthalmology. She holds the FRCOphth and completed advanced subspecialty training in Cornea and External Eye Disease at Wolverhampton Eye Infirmary. She is also certified in Laser and Refractive Surgery (Cert LRS) and accredited to perform laser and lens-based procedures.
With over 11 years of experience, Ms. Jiang manages a wide range of conditions including dry eye, corneal
dystrophies, and ocular surface disease. She specialises in standard and complex cataract and refractive surgery, including high refractive errors, astigmatism, and presbyopia. She also serves as Deputy Clinical Service Lead and Cataract Lead for her Trust. Her commitment to leadership and training has been recognised with the NHS Leadership Academy Award, Arthur Thomson Scholarship, and Duke Elder Prize.
