Dr Manzar Saeed, who joined the Optimax team in 2006, specialises in small incision cataract surgery and has
performed thousands of lens implant procedures.
As well as being an experienced user of multifocal, intraocular and accommodative lenses, Dr Saeed is also a retinal specialist with expertise in posterior segment diseases such as retinal detachment, macular disorders
and diabetic eye disease. His special area of interest is presbyopia and he also offers a full range of refractive
surgery procedures including LASIK and intraocular contact lens (ICL).
Dr Saeed has published a number of articles relating to his area of expertise and has been an external examiner for MSc in Optometry at City University, London.
