Mr Radwan Almousa is an anterior segment surgeon. He spent a year as an oculoplastic fellow in Singapore at one of the prestigious teaching hospital worldwide, the National University Hospital, and then back to the UK, he underwent a cornea and refractive surgery at Queen Victoria Hospital. Following this extensive training Mr Almousa developed a passion for anterior segment disease, thriving for adapting up to date treatments to improve the quality of vision and to relief the discomfort that may affect the front of the eye. Currently Mr Almousa is a part time Corneal and oculoplastic consultant at Great Western Hospital.
Mr Almousa has special interest in managing corneal diseases, and he published some of the first series about applying the femtosecond laser in corneal grafts. Also, he has a wide experience in managing keratoconus. Mr Almousa is an expert in refractive surgery and have a very good exposure to various procedure like LASIK and implantable contact lenses, and use this knowledge in choosing the bespoke treatment for his patients.
Correcting the eyelid malposition is a passion for Mr Almousa, also he performs blepharoplasty for both upper and lower lid to improve the cometic and maintain the functionality for the eyelids.
