Mr Wisam Muen is a Consultant Ophthalmologist who specialises in refractive surgery including premium lens surgery and cataracts. He has worked as the Lead Consultant for the Royal Eye Unit in Kingston. He was also the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Tutor in charge of training and the governance lead responsible for safety and quality for his department. He received excellence awards for his work in the NHS.

Mr Muen qualified from Manchester University where he was awarded the British Medical Association award for the Best Medical Research Project. He completed an extensive surgical training programme leading to the award of MRCS.Ed in Surgery before further specialising in Ophthalmology. Mr Muen holds the post graduate diploma in cataract and refractive surgery and the Royal College of Ophthalmologists Certificate of Laser Refractive Surgery. He is able to offer the full range of treatments to help get rid of glasses. He has published many peer-reviewed articles in international journals.
